Even I have a hard time remembering when to use "me" and when to use "I" when combining another name with my own. I think this is definitely something that language learners struggle with as well. I would start by presenting students with examples that may or may not be correct and having them decide if the correct word is used.
Examples:
Bailey and me love food. (wrong)
Bailey and I love food. (correct)
Jordan gave popcorn to Justin and _ (me or I?) (me)
